Celebrate NATIONAL NIGHT OUT on August 4th, 6 pm to 8 pm in Delaware City's Battery Park, 33 Clinton Street to support our Delaware City Police Department and first responders! Watch demonstrations by the Delaware City Fire Company. Take a free harbor cruise aboard the M/V DELAFORT. Lots of fun kids' activities. Shop our eclectic riverfront shops. Enjoy the outdoor concert with The Dig by the river. This is FREE family event with something for everyone!
Bring blankets, chairs, and maybe some bug spray!

FALL TOWN-WIDE YARD SALE Saturday, OCTOBER 17th, 2026
YEARLY SPRING & FALL SALE 8 am to 5 pm
Nearly all the homes have something valuable to sell during the Town-Wide Yard Sale! There's no telling the treasures you'll find; from cars to toys, clothes to furniture. This is the day residents look forward to and put out their treasures!
The sale takes place throughout the town. Cruise the streets or park and walk around. Either way, you'll always finding something new, something old, something bizarre or something you can't live without!
You'll find things in the historic, riverport commercial district, olde Delaware City, Harbor Estates, the new home subdivision at Fort DuPont and the Delaware City Mobile Home Community. There will be sales over the entire 3 square miles of charming village!
While you're here, stay awhile! Shop our beautiful town beside the water, enjoy a meal, visit Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island by passenger ferry, ride a bike on any of our trails... plenty to see and do!
