34th Annual TOWN-WIDE YARD SALE
SATURDAY, April 26th 2025 8 am to 5 pm
Nearly all the homes have something valuable to sell during the Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale! There's no telling the treasures you'll find; from cars to toys, clothes to furniture. This is the one-day a year the residents put out their treasures!
The sale takes place throughout the town. Cruise the streets to find the right gifts for you or park and walk around. Either way, you'll always finding something new, something old, something bizarre or something ya just gotta have!
You'll find things in the historic, riverport commercial district, olde Delaware City, Harbor Estates, the new home subdivision at Fort DuPont and the Delaware City Mobile Home Community. There will be sales over the entire 3 square miles of charming village!
While you're here, stay awhile! Shop our beautiful town beside the river, enjoy a meal in our 1820 surroundings, visit Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island by passenger ferry, ride a bike on any of our trails (and you can rent one here in town too!) ! There's lots to see and do!

Those who are not residents of Delaware City or those in town who need space to sell your goods are invited to contact the Delaware City Fire Company at 302.420.2927 to arrange space for your own tables. Come join the fun and excitement during our 33d Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale!

Celebrate NATIONAL NIGHT OUT on August 5th, 6 pm to 9 pm in Delaware City's Battery Park, 33 Clinton Street to support our Delaware City Police Department and first responders! Watch demonstrations by the Delaware City Fire Company. Take a free harbor cruise aboard the M/V DELAFORT. Lots of FUN! kids' activities. Shop our eclectic riverfront shops. Grab a meal in one of our six eateries. Visit outside vendors and marine police units at the city dock. Enjoy the outdoor concert by the river. This is FREE! Family Fun! Something for everyone!
